Plans We Offer

CHT offers seven medical plans to choose from in order to accommodate each employer’s budget.

The seven plans are: Trust750Trust1000, Trust1500, Trust2500, Trust3200, Trust5000, Trust8050. All of the plans qualify for optional Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) funding methods. The Trust3000, Trust5000, and Trust8050* are considered High Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs) and therefore qualify for optional Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). Employers may offer to their employees a dual choice plan by offering one or two medical plans. Group Life Insurance, (including Accidental Death and Dismemberment) coverage is automatically provided with all medical plans. Optional Dental and Vision coverage is also available.

Funding for premiums can be made through the Monthly Contribution or the Hourly Contribution. The Monthly Contribution is primarily for salaried office staff and supervisors who are paid a consistent salary. The Hourly Contribution method is for hourly field employees, including supervisors not covered under the Monthly Contribution method. Contributions must be made for each hour worked and allows workers to earn benefits based on hours worked. This model often pays for, and extends benefits through periods of temporary lay-offs or furlough and is ideal for compliance with Davis-Bacon prevailing benefit requirements.

Contractors Health Trust will work with you to design a program that will provide your employees with coverage that provides solid value at affordable rates.

CHT has partnered with Anthem PPO network to allow a greater health care provider choice for CHT participants. Currently the CHT network covers 100% of the hospitals in Colorado, as well as 95% of the medical providers. CHT has enhanced the Hour Bank funding methods to provide more flexibility for employers. CHT has successfully remained below the national average for PPO cost increases over the last several years.
